Wooden Fascias and Soffits vs. the upvc ones on Fire Hazard

On thermal stability the upvc fascias and upvc soffits are said to be efficient. Not only are they thermally efficient they help in reducing carbon emissions. The wooden fascias and soffits are vulnerable to heat and fire. As wood always promotes fire the new upvc fascias and upvc soffits look more efficient on fire too. The hazard of fire is less with the new upvc products. In contrast the wooden fascias and soffits pose a fire hazard to the house. Anyway this doesn’t look such an advantage as upvc is also a product that could catch fire during a blaze.
